The Man of Lawlessness "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." -2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 Throughout the centuries since Paul wrote these words, many have tried to understand not only the meaning, but the timing of these events. It is one of the most profound prophecies in the entire Bible. The purpose of this essay will be to do a word study of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, and to look elsewhere in God's Inspired Word to help decipher if this prophecy from Paul is trustworthy, and how and when these things would transpire. It is helpful to first understand the context and setting of Paul's words, and for this we will need to consult the previous chapter. While Paul had a different view of salvation than what Jesus taught, at 2 Thessalonians 1:2 he does remind the Thessalonians that it is the grace of God that makes it possible to be saved: "Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Then he tells them that the persecutions they suffer are a sign that they are deemed worthy of such grace: "So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer." (vs. 4,5) Next we see that it is in the spirit of prayer that Paul is speaking: "Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ." (vs. 11,12) Presence, or Coming? Paul now suddenly changes moods from his prayer to God, and begins directing his emotions to the Thessalonian congregation, regarding "the coming of our Lord Jesus". Let's look at the word "coming": 3952. parousia par-oo-see'-ah from the present participle of 3918; a being near, i.e. advent (often, return; specially, of Christ to punish Jerusalem, or finally the wicked); (by implication) physically, aspect:--coming, presence. This word is used in the Bible in three different ways: 1. Referring to a physical, bodily "presence" as found at 1 Corinthians 16:17; 2 Corinthians 10:10; 2. The presence of one who is coming or arriving, as at 2 Corinthians 7:6 – the “parousia" of Titus to Corinth; 2 Thessalonians 2:9, of the “parousia" of the man of lawlessness/antichrist whose presence is of the Satanic operation; Philippians 1:26, of Paul’s “parousia” to Philippi again. 3. In the New Testament referring to the future, visible, arrival of Jesus, the Messiah: i.e., Matthew 24:3, when the disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His future “parousia”; See also 1 Thessalonians 3:13, 4:15, 5:23; 2nd Thessalonians 2:1; James 5:7; 2 Peter 1:16, 3:4. Paul was referring to Jesus' actual coming, or arrival, as we see in his very next words: "and by our gathering together unto Him." 1997. episunagoge ep-ee-soon-ag-o-gay' from 1996; a complete collection; especially a Christian meeting (for worship):--assembling (gathering) together. Paul was undoubtedly speaking about what he had just written to the Thessalonians in the first letter, when he said: "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." -1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 Notice that Paul was speaking of the entire Body of Christ, His 144,000 chosen ones as being "one" (John 14:20), even referring to those he was speaking to as "we which are alive and remain" until the coming of Jesus. He was speaking of the "remaining ones"of the 144,000, shown in the Revelation to be 7,000 that "have not bent the knee to Baal" (Romans 11:4) who are killed during the great earthquake of Revelation 11:13. Although the previous ones have long since been martyred, they are "alive" in God's eyes awaiting their reward, and they are seen in Revelation 6:9-11 asking God to avenge their blood: "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." Jesus told His disciples that the next time the world would see Him would be when He was "coming on the clouds" (Matthew 24:30; 26:64). He didn't say He was coming back soon to give Paul a new Gospel. He emphatically warned that anyone publicly claiming to be the Messiah before that would be an impostor (Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22). Paul said that the remaining members of the Kingdom are raised up to "meet the Lord in the air" AFTER He arrives and is seen "on the clouds". Are these the same ones have been sealed, not raptured, at the beginning of the 42 months of the Beast, after the opening of the sixth seal (Revelation 6:12, 7:1-4) before any of the trumpets are blown? Jesus said: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:29-31) Yes, at that time Jesus will gather His Kingdom co-rulers, at the last trumpet, once the world has seen him "coming on the clouds", to the horror of "all the tribes of the earth" who have accepted and obey Satan's counterfeit kingdom of anti-Torah lawlessness. Paul was big into "mysteries", and in his first letter to the Corinthians, Paul said that this was a "mystery" as he expanded on in his words to the Thessalonians: "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." -1 Corinthians 15:50-52 There is a distinction between two destinies: Those "called" and "chosen"(Matthew 22:14) to rule over the earth with Christ, and those with an earthly hope, the ones who acknowledge the rightful Sovereignty of the Kingdom of Jesus and who will be the willing subjects of the Kingdom's rule. When is the "Day of the Lord"? It is helpful to establish what Paul actually said regarding "The Day". Did he say "Day of Christ" or "Day of the Lord"? Interestingly, the King James Interlinear does not say "Christ", it says "Kurios" meaning "Lord" or "Master". As we saw in the "Father and Son" essay, EHYEH the Father has temporarily bestowed upon Jesus every exalted title that the Father had previously reserved for Himself. So it really does not matter how the King James Bible translates "Kurios", it means the "Day of Jesus", to the glory of EHYEH, God the Father. The Bible is abundantly clear on when this "day" refers to, and that is the time that Jesus referred to in His parable of the good seed and the tares, also known as the "Wheat and the Weeds" found at Matthew 13:37-40: "He answered and said to them: "He that sows the good seed is the Son of Man. And the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the evil one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore just as the tares are gathered and burned with fire, thus it will be at the end of this age." -EMTV This is taken from the EMTV, due to there being quite a few inaccuracies in the King James Version. The "end of this age" is the thought being conveyed, because the Greek word is "aion" (G165) which means "age" or "system of things", and does not apply to the physical world as the King James implies. If God was going to end the physical earth he would have used the word "kosmos". As we saw in the "Wine of Babylon" essay, there are many scriptures in the Bible that clearly convey that the "Day of the LORD" is the climax of the present system of things, and has not yet commenced. These references can be found at Isaiah 2:12; 13:6, 9; Ezekiel 13:5; Joel 1: 15, 2:1, 11, 31, 3:14; Amos 5:18, 20; Obadiah 15; Zephaniah 1:7, 14 (twice); Zechariah 14:1; and Malachi 4:5. In addition to these passages, there are 75 abbreviations of this Hebrew phrase, under the words “that day” or “the day” or “the great day.” The Christian Greek Scriptures speak of the “day of the Lord” at Acts 2:20; 2 Peter 3:10, and 1 Thessalonians 5:2, and then here in Paul’s second letter to Thessalonica. The idea of judgment is paramount in all these scriptures. A good example is at Zephaniah 1:14-18, where the judgment is seen as upon the nation of Israel and the entire world. The historical judgments of Israel recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures cannot exhaust the judgments announced in connection with the “day of the Lord.” If we read all of the "Day of the Lord" prophesies and note what is involved, it becomes obvious that it includes the tribulation period, the Return of Christ, and His reign over the earth. The “day of the Lord” is a significant period of time, not a singular moment in time when He simply Returns to Earth. The New Testament always views it as an episode during a future time period when God deals in judgment with humanity on Earth. God Sanctions the Executor When EHYEH finally executed judgment on unfaithful Israel, He allowed the King of Babylon to carry out His punishment. Likewise, in the final judgment on the nations, God refers to his modern-day executor as "The King of Babylon", the "Chaldeans", the "King of Assyria", etc. (i.e. Jeremiah 20:4 and numerous other places) This action is sanctioned by God, and lasts for a period of 42 months. (Revelation 13:5) For example, we read at Habakkuk 1:5-12-- "Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling places that are not theirs. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it. Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god. Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction." This is what Jesus meant when he said: "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." -Luke 21:24 As an example of scripture-twisting, some try to make the case that the "last days" had already begun back in the first century by pointing to Hebrews 1:2, which several translations have rendered "in these last days". I am not a Greek scholar by any means, and those of us who are not scholars can either use the tools available to us, or rely on the opinions of scholars, who obviously have differing opinions on this. Other renderings are: "in these latter days" (Murdoch), "at the end of these days" (RV, WNT, Darby), "in these days" (DRB), and so forth. Are we to base our whole eschatology on such a thing? I think not! The Error Exposed “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.” -Verse 2 Paul now gives us the reason for what will follow in the rest of this section of the letter, “that ye be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled". This is primarily a mental issue, not an emotional one, although emotional issues follow. This is true in every aspect of the spiritual life. We need to base our lives on accurate knowledge, and not our emotions. This was the whole point of the first chapter of 2nd Peter. Here Peter tells us that in order to have this knowledge – intense scholastic study of God’s Word is required. Knowledge is the first of all the spiritual gifts (after salvation) and from knowledge we receive all other blessings. Accurate knowledge of the truth allows us to form a mental attitude from which our spiritual stability becomes firm. That firmness combined with the power of the Holy Spirit is what enables us to avoid succumbing to the deception of false prophets. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." -Hosea 4:6 The word “shaken” (G4531) is used literally and figuratively in the Bible. The literal sense is found at Luke 6:48, where Jesus spoke of the foundation of a house built on solid rock that a battering storm could not shake. By contrast, here Paul uses it metaphorically to describe a shaking of the mind. This tells us that Paul is thinking of a definite and devastating event. The infinitive “to be troubled" or "disturbed” is in the present tense, indicating an ongoing condition caused by a continuous inner emotion of fear, due to the relentless assault of false doctrines. The preposition “by” is repeated with the three nouns “spirit,” “message,” and “letter.” This is itemizing the different sources of deception that would erode the true faith. For instance, deception by "spirit" would indicate that the perpetrators of the false doctrine might claim to be God's "channel of communication", or otherwise claim enlightenment by the Holy Spirit. “We are now in the Day of the Lord” was, back then, the doctrinal error among the Thessalonians. It was a misapplication of truth that they had incorrectly discerned because they listened to false teachers. The deceivers had claimed that the “Day of the Lord” was presently occurring, and thus the church was in a period of time known as the “Day of the Lord.” There are many events that occur during the "Day of the Lord." There are approximately one hundred scriptures that speak of it and the associated events. We do find this fear factor employed by false prophets, constantly keeping their followers under the threat of an imminent "Armageddon". Paul would seem to be speaking directly to false "apostles" like the Governing Body of the Watchtower, who are blatantly guilty of such a proclamation that the "Day of the Lord" is here through their false teaching that Jesus already returned in 1914, establishing His Kingdom, throwing Satan out of Heaven, and thereby building their entire interpretation of prophecy upon that false notion that Paul called an "operation of error". As we will see, this example is only a precursor of what is to come during the "Great Apostasy", or "falling away" from God by the entire world and turning to New Age Satanism. Let no man deceive you by any means A good example of Paul's thinking here can be found at Acts 20-25-32, where he tells the Ephesians of the completeness of his ministry (in his own mind), and then warns them that false teachers will arrive at a future time. They were to be "on guard" (v. 28) meaning to be mentally alert at all times. This is a way of thinking that is missing from nearly all churches today, but this is one area where the Watchtower is diligent. Just try questioning one of their doctrines, and they can separate you from your loved ones, and you are thereby consigned to the ash pits of Gehenna, no longer under the protection of the corporate umbrella, a.k.a "The Organization". In verse 3, Paul begins by saying – “don’t let anyone fool you in any way.” He is referring to this false teaching that they were already in the Day of the Lord. Having given the warning, Paul says: “for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." Note that the words “that day shall not come” is an interpolation by the King James translators and did not appear in the original text. The “falling away” must come before the "Day of the Lord". The term “falling away” is a single Greek word, “apostasia.” It is specifically referring to an ultimate, global "apostasia", not any ordinary apostasy. The word was used outside of the New Testament to describe military or political revolt, so in this sense, it would be a “spiritual” revolt. What is Apostasy? “Apostasia” is transliterated to English as "apostasy." Strong's says: 646. apostasia ap-os-tas-ee'-ah feminine of the same as 647; defection from truth (properly, the state) ("apostasy"):--falling away, forsake. 647. apostasion ap-os-tas'-ee-on neuter of a (presumed) adjective from a derivative of 868; properly, something separative, i.e. (specially) divorce:--(writing of) divorcement. 868. aphistemi af-is'-tay-mee from 575 and 2476; to remove, i.e. (actively) instigate to revolt; usually (reflexively) to desist, desert, etc.:--depart, draw (fall) away, refrain, withdraw self. Apostasia is a compound word. “Apo” and “stasia” or “stasis” Apo = from, away from… as in distance of time or place. Stasis = a setting, a standing, an effective position. A group or movement. An outbreak or an outburst…a rebellion or revolt. The root word is: Aphistemi. (#868) H.K. Moulton's Analytical Greek-English Lexicon = to draw off or away, withdraw, or to induce to revolt. Apostasy. Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon = excite to revolt, draw away from. A defection, apostasy Bauer, Arndt, Gingrich & Danker's (BAGD) Greek-English Lexicon = rebellion, of the rebellion caused by the Antichrist in the last days. Moulton and Milligan's Vocabulary of the Greek Testament indicates that the term was used often of rebellion and cites as one of many examples the Egyptian rebels who burned title deeds. There are many other citations and instances found in the archaeological records that have been recovered that carry this idea of rebellion or revolt. The word was widely used for any kind of rebellion, physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually. The Wycliffe Bible Commentary also concurs that "rebellion" is the idea in this verse: "Apparently (the rebellion or revolt) will be of sufficient scope and intensity to mark itself off from the spirit of general opposition to God which characterizes the world's usual attitude." In summary, the term indicates the greatest reversal and revolting away from God, His Truth, and His Law in human history. It is an attitude, a mindset, the mental action of accepting a different doctrine. By implication, this is mental revolt with spiritual repercussions and it is stimulated by a huge lie that is made to seem as though it is the real truth. It indicates that the lie that prompts the apostasia is deceptively and effectively persuasive. It becomes the final revolt or the final rebellion against God. How ironic it is that it was Paul himself who played the greatest part in the "strong delusion" that God's Torah was abolished by the "New Covenant"! The Man of Lawlessness The King James Version renders the entity at the end of verse 3 as the man of "sin", from Strong's G266 "hamartia". It was an archer’s term for when the arrow missed the bull’s-eye of the target, and is not found in any of the early Greek manuscripts for this verse. It is only found in the later manuscripts that were available to the KJV translators. What is found in the oldest Greek texts is the powerful compound word “anomias.” “an” = ( a negative particle) = “no” “nomias” = “law” Literally – “no-law” 458. anomia an-om-ee'-ah from 459; illegality, i.e. violation of law or (genitive case) wickedness:--iniquity, X transgress(-ion of) the law, unrighteousness. Mounce’s Greek Lexicon states: “Lawless.” “Without law.” “Lawlessness” Thayer’s Greek Lexicon = the condition of one without law, without law, destitute of law. Moulton's Lexicon = Lawless, without law, violating law, lawlessness, iniquity, sin. Bauer, Arndt, Gingrich & Danker's Lexicon (BAGD) = Lawlessness. Contempt for law. We can summarize the above as: 1. a condition without law, such as a state of being. Lawless or anarchy. 2. contempt/hatred for law, by implication also of moral absolutes. If we note the rawness of the compound word, then this is a man of “lawlessness”. There are two words synonymous with anomia: #1. anarchy - which indicates no law or lawlessness and leads to chaos and disorder #2. chaos - total disorder or confusion. So this "man of lawlessness" has disregarded and abolished the Torah, and operates through anarchy and chaos, and now the inescapable link is found to the secret societies that have been covertly operating for more than 200 years known as the "Illuminati", who are dedicated to bringing "Lucifer" to rule on earth and be worshipped as the "Grand Architect of the Universe". Their motto describes their method of operating secretly as a “mystery religion” by the use of their term: "Ordo Ab Chao" or "Out of Chaos Comes Order". The Illuminist movement is nothing more than a revival of the old Babylonian mystery religion of Ishtar, the Mother of the Harlots and the other mysteries. It is a modern version of the Knights Templar dating back to the middle ages, who picked up the dogmas from other secret groups operating in the Middle East. The Catholic Church spotted their Satanic nature and forced them underground. The Knights then took over Freemasonry and kept their mystery religion alive in the highest degrees of Freemasonry. In 1776, the Illuminati movement came into being under Adam Weishaupt, (a close friend of Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin) in order to begin building the geo-political platform for the coming of the “Man of Chaos,” the Antichrist. Thus, the organization’s motto and chief stratagem – “Out of chaos, comes order” as in The New World Order. The Illuminati are the “movers” and “shakers” within the shadows of ultimate power, using the banking industry as their main operating basis, which in turn controls the politicians. Indeed Jesus did say that money was the root of all evil, not to be found in the Westcott & Hort revised versions. They have bragged about creating chaos in geo-political circles so that they can bring about a measure of their own order, in a series of seemingly endless cycles, slowly building, one plank after the other, the platform on which the Antichrist or “man of chaos” will stand and rule the Earth. It is evident from world events and open talk from the religious and political leaders of the world that the New World Order has its infrastructure in place under the guise of the United Nations, and is ready to come on the scene, pending the "right major crisis" according to the UN's founder, David Rockefeller. It should also be noted that the term “mystery” is applied to this “man” as is the word “anomia.” This is further evidence that the Illuminist dogma is the same as the mystery doctrines of ancient Babylon. The designation “man of chaos” or lawlessness is not a personal name but a characterization of the man. The other term used is “son of perdition”, or "destruction", and this assures his final destiny. This expression was also applied to Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus. Jesus used the term on another notable occasion: The Man of Lawlessness Revealed Jesus gave a big clue as to the identity of the Man of Lawlessness at Matthew 7:21-23. He said: “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness." (NWT) Scene from "The Exorcist" "Lawlessness" is the perfect word to describe the Society of Jesus. The Vatican runs the world's organized crime in all of its forms. They control all of the world's largest covert intelligence operations. Working in conjunction with the Vatican's financial arm in London (they are both sovereign states), they control the economies of all the nations of the world and manipulate the stock markets at their whim. They have trashed the Torah (The Law, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights for God's people) which included God's laws against usury (charging interest on loans), oppression and slavery. As a result, they are ready to close the deal on a hostile corporate takeover of the world. However, the Vatican has been accused of being the Antichrist for centuries. Is the Man of Lawlessness so easily revealed? The Black Nobility From BibleBelievers Website: In Carthage, the Canaanites called themselves Punics. Rome attacked Carthage in full force, beginning in 264BC and completed their task after killing or enslaving every Carthaginian, by sowing the land to salt so that nothing could ever grow there again. The Edomites descended from Esau later intermarried with the Turks to produce a Turco-Edomite mixture which later became known as Chazars (Khazars) - who are the present occupants of Israel. These Canaanites eventually adopted the name "Sepharvaim" for deceptive purposes. They later became known as Venetians, and by marrying into European royalty and aristocracy, the "black nobility." The Venetians today control the Federal Reserve system in the US. Around AD1400, European power centers coalesced into two camps: the Ghibellines, who supported the Emperors Hohenstaufen family, and the Guelphs, from Welf, the German prince who competed with Frederick for control of the Holy Roman Empire. The Pope allied himself with the Guelphs. All modern history stems directly from the struggle between these two powers. The Guelphs are also called the Neri, Black Guelphs, or Black Nobility, and supported William of Orange in his seizure of the throne of England, which eventually resulted in the formation of the Bank of England and the East India Company, which would rule the world from the 17th century. All coup d’etats, revolutions and wars in the 19th and 20th centuries are centered in the battle of the Guelphs to hold and enhance their power, which is now the New World Order. The power of the Guelphs would extend through the Italian financial centers to the north of France in Lombardy (all Italian bankers were referred to as "Lombards"). Lombard in German means "deposit bank", and the Lombards were bankers to the entire Medieval world. They would later transfer operations north to Hamburg, then to Amsterdam and finally to London. The Guelphs would start the slave trade to the colonies. The Guelphs, in order to aid their control of finance and politics, would perpetuate gnostic cults which eventually developed into the Rosicrucians, Unitarians, Fabian Society and the World Council of Churches. The East India company, together with John Stuart Mill, would finance the University of London. A friend of Mill, historian George Grote, a founder of London University donated £6000 for the study of "mental health", which began the worldwide "mental health" movement. George Ball, who owns a large block of stock in BSI, is a prominent "insider" and the bank’s US representative. In the secret 1822 Treaty of Verona (between Austria, France, Prussia and Russia) the Jesuits agreed to smash the US Constitution and suppress the freedom of the US. Their methods included destroying free speech, destroying and suppressing the press, universal censorship, sustaining the cooperation of the Pope and clergy to use religion to help keep nations in passive obedience and financing wars against countries with representative governments. The monarchs who signed this treaty were ultimately deposed. Most of these families are very wealthy and may be more powerful today than when they sat upon thrones. Italy is important to the conspirators’ plans because it is the closest European country to the Middle East, and linked to Middle East economics and politics. It is also the home of the Catholic Church, which Weishaupt ordered destroyed, and home for some of Europe’s most powerful oligarchical families of the ancient Black Nobility. Should Italy have been weakened by Aldo Moro’s death, it would have had repercussions in the Middle East which would have weakened US influence in the region. Italy is important for another reason; it is a gateway for drugs entering Europe from Iran and Lebanon. Various groups combined under the name of socialism to bring about the downfall of several Italian governments since the Club of Rome was established in 1968. Among these are the Black Nobility of Venice and Genoa, P2 Masonry and the Red Brigades, all working for the same goals. Police investigators in Rome working on the Red Brigades-Aldo Moro case came across the names of several very prominent Italian families working closely with this terrorist group. The police also discovered evidence that in at least a dozen cases, these powerful and prominent families had allowed their homes and/or property to be used as safe houses for Red Brigades cells. Peccei headed the Atlantic Institute’s Economic Council for three decades while he was the Chief Executive Officer for Giovanni Agnellis’ Fiat Motor Company. Agnelli, a member of an ancient Italian Black Nobility family of the same name, was one of the most important members of the Committee of 300. He played a leading role in development projects in the Soviet Union. The Club of Rome is a conspiratorial umbrella organization, a marriage between Anglo-American financiers and the old Black Nobility families of Europe, particularly the so- called "nobility" of London, Venice and Genoa. The key to the successful control of the world is their ability to create and manage savage economic recessions and eventual depressions. The Committee of 300 looks to social convulsions on a global scale, followed by depressions, as a softening-up technique for bigger things to come, as its principal method of creating masses of people all over the world who will become its "welfare" recipients of the future. A second assassination bureau is located in Switzerland and was until recently run by a shadowy figure of whom no photographs existed after 1941. The primary contact man was Jacques Soustelle - this according to US Army-G2 intelligence files. This group was also closely allied with Allen Dulles and Jean de Menil, an important member of the Committee of 300 and a very prominent name in the oil industry in Texas. Army-G2 records show that the group was heavily involved in the arms trade in the Middle East, but more than that, the assassination bureau made no less than 30 attempts to kill General de Gaulle, in which Jacques Soustelle was directly involved. The same Soustelle was the contact man for the Sendero Luminoso-Shining Pathway guerilla group protecting the Committee’s Peruvian cocaine producers. Richard Gardner was sent to Rome on a special assignment. Gardner married into one of the oldest Black Nobility families of Venice, thus providing the Venetian aristocracy a direct line to the White House. The late Averill Harriman was another of the committee’s direct links with the Kremlin and the White House, a position inherited by Kissinger after Harriman’s death. In 1986 in "The Order of St. John of Jerusalem" Dr. Coleman wrote: "It is therefore not a secret society, except where its purposes have been perverted in the inner councils like the Order of the Garter, which is a prostituted oligarchical creation of the British royal family, which makes a mockery of what the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem stands for. As an example, we find the atheist Lord Peter Carrington, who pretends to be an Anglican Christian but who is a member of the Order of Osiris and other demonic sects, including Freemasonry, installed as a Knight of the Garter at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II of England, of the Black Nobility Guelphs, also head of the Anglican Church, which she thoroughly despises." ".....Hearing this and becoming full of anger, the men began crying out, saying: “Great is Ar´te·mis of the E·phe´sians!” -Acts 19:28 The "Lucifer" Ruse It is a common belief that "Lucifer" is Satan, and he may very well turn out to be, but not according to the Bible. The name never appeared in the original Hebrew text of the Old Testament. The text in question is at Isaiah 14:12, and the ASV renders it: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning!" The BBE says: "How great is your fall from heaven, O shining one, son of the morning!" In the original Hebrew text, the fourteenth chapter of Isaiah is not about a fallen angel, but about a fallen Babylonian king, who during his lifetime had persecuted the children of Israel. It contains no mention of Satan, either by name or reference. We can only speculate that some early Christian scribes, writing in the Latin tongue used by the Church, had decided for themselves that they wanted the story to be about a fallen angel, a creature not even mentioned in the original Hebrew text, and to whom they gave the name "Lucifer." In Roman astronomy, Lucifer was the name given to the morning star, now known as Venus, another Roman name. The morning star appears in the heavens just before dawn, heralding the rising sun. It is derived from the Latin term lucem ferre, meaning "bringer, or bearer, of light." In the Hebrew text the expression used to describe the Babylonian king before his death is Helal, son of Shahar, which can best be translated as "Day star, son of the Dawn." The name evokes the golden glitter of a proud king's dress and court (much as his personal splendor earned for King Louis XIV of France the appellation, "The Sun King"). The scholars authorized by King James I to translate the Bible into current English did not use the original Hebrew texts, but used versions translated largely by Jerome in the fourth century. Jerome had mistranslated the Hebraic metaphor, "Day star, son of the Dawn," as "Lucifer," and over the centuries a metamorphosis took place. Lucifer the morning star became a disobedient angel, cast out of heaven to rule eternally in hell. Theologians, writers, and poets interwove the myth with the doctrine of the Fall, and in Christian tradition Lucifer is now the same as Satan, the Devil, and ironically, the Prince of Darkness. So "Lucifer" is nothing more than an ancient Latin name for the morning star, the bringer of light. That can be confusing for Christians who identify Jesus as the "morning star". Jesus refers to h\Himself as the morning star in Revelation 22:16: "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." The verses that follow Isaiah 14:12 confirm that the "Shining One" is not Satan but a man, and that man is indeed the Man of Lawlessness: "And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit. They that see thee shall gaze at thee, they shall consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and overthrew the cities thereof; that let not loose his prisoners to their home? All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast forth away from thy sepulchre like an abominable branch, clothed with the slain, that are thrust through with the sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a dead body trodden under foot. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, thou hast slain thy people; the seed of evil-doers shall not be named for ever." -Isaiah 14:13-20 (ASV) "Sheol" is the common grave of man, not a destination for Satan or any other spirit creature. Perhaps the strongest evidence that the final Antichrist is a solitary man is found at Revelation 13:18-- "Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six." Everything within the sphere of man’s religious activity will be banned. He will blasphemously take his seat in “the temple of God.” What is "the Temple of God"? To Zionists and Jerusalem literalists, this implies the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem, but this teaching has no basis in scripture. Jesus Himself said that the Temple of God was no longer a literal place on earth, and that He Himself was the Temple that would be raised up in three days. (Matthew 26:61; 27:40; Mark 14:58; 15:29; John 2:19,20;) At Matthew 12:6 He said that something greater than the Temple had arrived. The Temple was a symbol of the Old Law Covenant, and Ehyeh always made it clear that no temple could contain Him. Jesus said to the Pharisees: "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Paul acknowledged this at 1 Corinthians 6:19-- "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" So by misinterpreting scripture, this man of lawlessness, or chaos, will offer himself up as a ‘god’ above gods or as ‘The God’ before the whole world, and will try to force fulfillment on prophecy which may involve an image, in or near a rebuilt Temple of Solomon on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It will appear to be legitimate prophecy fulfillment to those not studied in the scriptures, and this is the unfortunate conjectured assumption by many leading prophecy commentators. What is the spiritual implication of this? The Man of Lawlessness will sit down amongst the Christian Congregation, which means that he will claim God's place in the hearts of minds of everyone who considers themselves a Christian and instead worship the Man of Chaos, initially through the New Age deception. He has many agents, an entire worldwide organization built plank by plank over many centuries. And we must remember that he sits down in the Temple of the True God, the Christian Congregation, before he is revealed! 2 Thessalonians 2:5- "Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?" Paul is reminding them that they had forgotten what he told them only months earlier. If they had remembered the sound doctrine they had been taught, they would not have been disturbed, shaken and upset by this new and novel teaching from false teachers, that now they were in the Day of the Lord, when in fact they were not. Old truth is often forgotten when faced with an effective teacher who has “revolutionary” ideas and persuasive ability. It is important to note that none of the Apostles or disciples correctly understood the timing of events back in the first century. Jesus said: "When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." -Acts 1:6-8. So, even false Paul has some good insight to share. He knew that his own tongue was spewing "strong delusion" that would lead to a state of lawlessness and apostasy from God's Torah on a global scale. That is why it is so vitally important to remain steadfast in our study of the scriptures. Paul knew his own lies and also knew of the coming false teachers that would come in. Referring to his own "Gospel" that traditional Christianity accepts as the true Gospel of Jesus, Paul says at Galatians 1:6-9-- "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." At 2 Peter 2:1,2 we read: "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of." Yes, God's Torah is considered a "curse" because of Paul! The One Who is Restraining We know from the account of Simon Magus that the Christian congregation was already corrupted in the first century. We also know that Jesus said that the wheat would have to grow together with the weeds until the final harvest. In verses 6 and 7, Paul acknowledges this: "And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." In verse 6, the neuter participle “what withholdeth” becomes the masculine participle “he who now letteth” in verse 7. The first term focuses on the force of the one that restrains, the second on the person that does the restraining. Some have taken this to be a reference to the Roman Empire and the Roman emperor. This view is inadequate because both Rome and its emperor have passed from the scene, and the events of which Paul spoke did not occur. The term in the KJV, “he who now letteth” is the Greek word “katexon” which means restraining. This same word is also found in verse 6, but the KJV translates it as “what witholdeth.” In verse 6 a neuter gender format is used, but in verse 7, the word becomes masculine in gender. In both cases, the idea is of restraining, so that the word means “restrain” or restrainer. According to Friberg's Analytical Lexicon to the Greek New Testament, this verb means "hold back, detain, prevent . . . figuratively restrain, check." So it is evident that the restrainer must either have supernatural powers in order to hold back the supernatural powers of evil, or it must apply to something that would be able to restrain these evil powers. Attributing the restraining power to the Holy Spirit has been the preferred understanding of this passage because of His harmony with God’s purpose and God’s timetable. However, the Greek text here literally reads "only the thing holding back now will continue until out of the midst he comes [Gr. ek mesou genetai]." With an understanding of what is taught in Revelation about the release of Abaddon, we can see what Paul is saying. The following translation of verses 6 and 7 clarifies this passage: "And you now know the thing [the Abyss] that is holding back [Abaddon], that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only the thing [the Abyss] which now restrains [Abaddon] will continue to do so until out of the midst [of the Abyss] he comes." -Literal translation, 2 Thessalonians 2:6. Abaddon Is The "Beast" Who Ascends From The Abyss In Revelation 9:1-11, Abaddon is identified as the king of the evil spirits released from the Abyss. This fact identifies him throughout the rest of the book of Revelation. Twice specifically, and once symbolically, Abaddon is referred to as the "beast" who is to come up out of the Abyss: "When they [the two witnesses] have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the Abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them." -Revelation 11:7, NASU. "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit and go to perdition . . ." -Revelation 17:8, RSV. "Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea . . ." -Revelation 13:1, NKJV. Revelation 11:7 and 17:8 are clearly referring to Abaddon as the "beast" who will ascend from the "bottomless pit." The first part of Revelation 13:1 is a symbolic reference to the release of Abaddon from the Abyss, which in Jewish thought, was often associated with the ocean depths. Commenting on the Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures in use at the time of Yeshua, The New Unger's Bible Dictionary says: "The LXX renders Heb. tehom, 'the primeval ocean' (Gen. 1:2; Ps. 24:2; etc.) as 'abyss'." (p. 18, "Abyss"). What is the bottomless pit of Revelation 9:1? "And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key of the shaft of the bottomless pit; 2 he opened the shaft of the bottomless pit and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft." (RSV) First we notice that when the fifth trumpet sounds, an angel ("star") descends out of heaven to the earth. This angel has in his possession a key to the abyss, and with it he unlocks the "bottomless pit." This is very likely the same angel who later comes from heaven again with the key and a great chain to imprison Satan in the Abyss for the duration of the Millennium (Rev. 20:1-3). "Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth; they were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green growth or any tree, but only those of mankind who have not the seal of God upon their foreheads; they were allowed to torture them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torture was like the torture of a scorpion, when it stings a man. And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death will fly from them." -Revelation 9:3-6, RSV. Regarding the "locusts" which ascend out of the Abyss, David H. Stern writes: "Demonic monsters are released which fly like locusts (Exodus 10:12-20; Joel 1:4, 2:4-14) and sting like scorpions" (Ezekiel 2:6, Lk 11: 12). -p. 816, Jewish New Testament Commentary. God grants these evil "locusts" from the Abyss the power that scorpions have, to inflict pain. God tells these paroled demons and fallen angels not to harm the earth or those humans who have His seal on their foreheads. Yet for five months God permits them to torment the unrepentant among mankind. "In appearance the locusts were like horses arrayed for battle; on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces, their hair like women's hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth; they had scales like iron breastplates, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. They have tails like scorpions, and stings, and their power of hurting men for five months lies in their tails. They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon." -Revelation 9:7-11, RSV. Here we have a detailed description of what these fallen angels and demons look like. The five-month period of their torture of mankind is also repeated in verse 10. Then in verse 11 there is the first mention of Abaddon. He is identified as the angelic ruler over those who were released from the Abyss. So it seems that the abyss itself, where the demons have been restrained since being punished for the sins they committed against all living things before the flood (Luke 8:31; 1 Peter 3:19; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6), is what has been preventing these hordes of demons from being released, which the book of Revelation shows will happen during the time of the end. The Mystery Already at Work Many may claim that the Pope long ago claimed to be God, and indeed the Popes were long ago recognized as the Antichrist, but no Pope ever achieved an apostasy on the global scale being spoken about here. The old Roman Empire never achieved anything close to domination of the entire world, yet that is what is prophesied for the Man of Chaos. In verse 7 we find the word “mystery”, which is the Greek word “musterion”. 3466. musterion moos-tay'-ree-on from a derivative of muo (to shut the mouth); a secret or "mystery" (through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites):--mystery. From the word “meuo”, “to initiate into (the mysteries),” i.e., to make known special secrets. Thus, musterion meant a secret rite or teaching which the initiate knew and nobody else. The root idea then is information known only to those on the inside, but hidden to those who are not initiates. This term was used for the “mystery” religions of Babylon, particularly those of the goddess Ishtar, her brother, the sun-god Utu (aka “Shamash") and also of “Baal.” All three religions contained “mystery” dogmas and doctrines. These mystery doctrines of Babylon have been passed down through the ages, to the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans, and on to the Knights Templar, the Freemasons and the Illuminati. The Illuminists and the Freemasons keep the most intense mysteries a total secret known only to the highest ranking members of their groups. The Man Revealed, His Power is by Satan "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders." (vs. 8,9) The word “coming” is again “parousia” but here it refers to the “man of ‘anomia’ whose “parousia” is in accordance to the operation of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. This verse indicates how the “man of lawlessness” or “chaos” will arrive: By satanic power, signs and lying wonders. The word “working” is the Greek word “energeia”and could be better translated as “ope |
