"Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever." -Psalms 119:160 In the Beginning The above photo is of the planet Venus. According to the Bible, this may very well be what our Earth looked like "in the beginning": "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." -Genesis 1:2 What does "in the beginning" really mean? Many Christian writers have proposed novel 'interpretations' of the Bible in an attempt to harmonize it with the idea that there were 'billions of years' before the creation account of Genesis, and to say that the sun, moon and stars were already existing long before Day One. The first Hebrew word in Genesis 1:1 is "bereshith"; it occurs without the article, making it a proper noun, meaning "absolute beginning". The construction does not allow it to be translated "In the beginning of God's creating" or "When God began creating". The phrase "heaven and earth" in Genesis 1:1 is an example of a Hebrew figure of speech called a "merism", where two opposites are combined into an all-encompassing single concept. This phrase has been used throughout the Bible to convey the thought of: "everything that exists in the material creation", because there was no word in Hebrew for "universe". The word used for "heaven" in Hebrew is "shamayim", and this has been translated as either "heaven" or "heavens", depending on the context. So the basic meaning is: "everything in creation apart from the earth." The other word in the phrase, "erets", refers to our physical earth. Because the descriptions follow, the Hebrew rules of grammar do not allow for any gap of time in the text between verses 1 and 2! Since the Hebrew text makes no mention of the sun, moon and stars until Day 4, there is no basis for anyone to add the sun, moon and stars to the text of Genesis 1:1! So according to the Hebrew rules of grammar, the phrase "in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" is a summary statement, with the details of the creation following afterward. This cannot be twisted and contorted into meaning that anything was created before the earth! Are the "six days" literal or figurative? "Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." -Exodus 20:8-11; 31:15-17. Here we see that God is commanding the Israelites to rest on the seventh day of their work week. There is no doubt that these were 24-hour days. In His very next breath God says that He made the heaven and the earth in six days. How were the Hebrews to understand this? Some old-earthers say they would read Psalms 90:4: "For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night." So the Hebrews understood that God was outside of time as they perceived it. But that does not mean that the creative days were longer than 24 hours. If we were to assume that, we would have to go beyond what is written. God told Adam and Eve that they would "positively die" (Gen. 2:17) "in the day" that they ate from the forbidden tree. Neither Adam nor Eve, nor any of their offspring ever lived to be a thousand years old. The longest lifespan recorded in the Bible is that of Methuselah, who lived to be 969 years old (Genesis 5:27). Adam and Eve did not physically die during that 24-hour day, but they died spiritually, and passed on that condemnation to all of their offspring, creating a need for a Messiah and a Mediator through which man could be saved. This is a basic teaching of the Bible, and an example of spiritual death can be found at John 6:47-51 where Jesus said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." Even Saul/Paul recognized this scriptural truth at Ephesians 2:5, saying: "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ..." Obviously, the Hebrews did not have access to the Christian Greek Scriptures, but when the Apostle Peter repeated the teaching of Psalms 90:4 at 2 Peter 3:8, saying, "one day to God is as a thousand years, and a thousand years are as one day", the context was that people would be ridiculing those who were warning of the second coming of Jesus, because it would seem to be delaying. Does this have anything to do with the creation days? Only by unfounded assumptions! Notice that Peter also said "a thousand years is as one day". This cancels out the first part! This is saying that God is timeless and outside of time as we perceive it, and that was the reason why Peter said not to be "ignorant of this one thing". When in doubt, look at what Satan does to twist the truth: At this point, if you have not read the essay "Which Bible?" it would be helpful to do so. Westcott and Hort, the authors of the Revised Text that an increasing number of Bibles are based on, were evolutionists and occultists, and did not believe the scriptures were inspired. This is one of those occasions where a good detective will make comparisons with the Received Text and discover where the chicanery took place: The first scripture to come under the microscope is Genesis 2:18. According to every translation except one that I could find, the text says: "It is not good for the man TO BE ALONE." Now notice the Westcott and Hort rendition found in the New World Translation of the Watchtower Society: "And Jehovah God went on to say: “It is not good for the man to continue by himself." The Interlinear text uses the word "hayah", or "hyh" (sound familiar?) which can mean several different things and would have to be translated according to the context. Regarding this word, Strong's says: 1961 hayah haw-yaw a primitive root (Compare 1933); to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary):--beacon, X altogether, be(-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-)self, require, X use. Notice that the primary meaning is "to exist" or "become". If the thought had been to "continue", suggesting a long period, or "procrastination", there were a multitude of Hebrew words that could have been used to express this idea. An examination of the work of Westcott and Hort shows that they took every opportunity to translate the Bible to fit their own interpretation. The second scripture we will look at is Genesis 2:23. All of the translations that reflect the Received Text render it "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh." The word translated as "now" is: 6471 pa`am pah'-am or (feminine) pa;amah {pah-am-aw'}; from 6470; a stroke, literally or figuratively (in various applications, as follow):--anvil, corner, foot(-step), going, (hundred-)fold, X now, (this) + once, order, rank, step, + thrice, ((often-)), second, this, two) time(-s), twice, wheel. A "stroke" indicates a precise moment in time, not some long period of waiting. Now look at how Westcott and Hort translated this verse: "Then the man said: “This is at last bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh." Ah, at last! Now they can make the argument that Adam spent 5, 10, 20, 50, or 100 years naming the animals! (And according to the Talmud, having sex with them: “Adam had sexual intercourse with all the animals in the Garden of Eden.” -Yebamoth 63a) Let's take a look at the time that Adam named the animals: "And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man." Here we see that God was still creating, and then bringing the animals to Adam. Couldn't this have been done in a day? Do we need to insist that Adam must have named several million species of animals? There is no indication of any lapse of time after doing this. Adam must have been exhausted, and it simply says that God caused a deep sleep to come over the man, and He proceeded to create Eve from one of Adam's ribs. Now let's back up a few verses and see what transpired from the moment that God told Adam not to eat from the forbidden tree, until He created Eve: "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." Jesus Himself told us: "But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female." (Mark 10:6) This statement in itself should cause thinking Christians to ponder if there were billions or even thousands of years prior to the creation of Adam and Eve. The First Light "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." -Genesis 1:3-5 To those who advocate that the universe existed prior to verse 2, why would God have a need to create light if the sun, moon and stars were already existing? The Bible does not go into much detail regarding this first light, but wouldn't it stand to reason that God provided the light Himself, for the purpose of having a lighted work space? Since this was a rather big event for the hundreds of millions of onlooking angels (Job 38:7), wouldn't it make sense to light up the place? Since there was "evening and morning" for the first three days before the sun, either the earth was rotating or the light was going around the earth, correct? So then if we listen to our God clearly speaking to us, He states that the earth is firmly established and cannot be moved at 1 Chronicles 16:30, Psalms 93:1 and 96:10. The only time the earth moves are those occasions when earthquakes occur or when God rocks the earth in the day of His fury (i.e. Haggai 2:6,7). At Isaiah 13:13, Ehyeh says: "Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger." At Hebrews 12:26, it implies that in the day of God's wrath not only the earth will move, but the revolving dense firmament (Psalms 68:4) will likely experience a sudden shakeup: "Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven." At Job 38:12,13, we read: "Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?" So the world wanted a moving earth to discredit scripture, and God will accommodate them! The next essay "The Electric Firmament" expands on this. It should also be noted that at the end of the fourth day, Genesis 1:19 states: "And the evening and the morning were the fourth day." The mention of "evening and morning" denotes the light and dark of the newly orbiting sun that has just replaced the first light. Elsewhere in scripture the term can be found at Daniel 8:14 where it states: "And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." (ASV) The evening and morning were often referred to in God's requirements for the offering up of sacrifices. The use of this term, then, would seem to support the notion that God intended for it to be understood as a literal 24-hour day. Conclusion for Genesis 1:1-3: The Hebrew text of the Bible states unequivocally that the earth was created first, then the heavens, in a period of six 24-hours days, a little more than 6,000 years ago! Hanging the Earth Upon Nothing "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner stone thereof?" -Job 38:4-6 Let's go back to the photo at the top of the page. Notice that the earth isn't moving. It isn't rotating. It just hangs there, suspended on nothing. (Job 26:7) There was no sun yet for the earth to move around. Notice that there was no atmosphere. In fact, there weren't even any heavens yet. There was no dry land on the surface, only water. But then there was a force, moving back and forth upon the surface of the waters. This was quite possibly the beginning of gravitational forces acting upon the "formless" earth to make it spherical. This was the situation at the end of verse 3. Now let's see how EHYEH and THE WORD engineered "hanging the earth": "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof." -Psalms 19:1-6 Take a look HERE to see what REAL astronomers are talking about! The Big Bang Somewhere along the way, we came to have a much different understanding of what took place in the very beginning. "Scientists" came along and told us that things did not begin this way. Instead, there was a tiny little microscopic dot the size of a mustard grain that contained all the energy that would become the universe. In a fraction of a second too small to even comprehend, it suddenly exploded. It expanded outward at speeds trillions of times what we now know is the speed of light. Over the course of billions of years, it became everything we observe in the material universe: Spiral galaxies, comets, nebulae, supernovas, and our beautiful home, the earth, with all of its wonders and miracles. The following is referenced from Dr. Walt Brown's online book, "Creation Science": The Big Bang theory is based on three observations: the redshift of light from distant stars, the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation, and the amount of helium in the universe. All three of these things present serious problems for the Bing Bang Theory. 1) Redshift: The redshift of starlight is usually interpreted as a Doppler effect, due to the ever expanding universe moving away from earth, stretching out, or "reddening" the wavelengths of light they emit. If space is expanding, there would have to be a corresponding loss of energy elsewhere. One of the most important of all scientific laws is "Conservation of Energy", and the Big Bang violates that law. Also according to that same law, distant galaxies should not just be receding from us, they should be decelerating. Measurements show the opposite; they are accelerating from us. Many objects with high redshift seem connected, or associated, with other low-redshift objects. If they were traveling at such vastly different velocities, they would not remain closely associated for very long. They could not be traveling at such different velocities and remain connected for long. For example, many quasars have very high redshift, but statistically they are clustered with low-redshift galaxies. Sometimes, quasars seem to be connected to galaxies by threads of gas. Many quasar redshifts are so great that the massive quasars would need to have formed too soon after the Big Bang, another contradiction of the theory. Finally, redshifted light from galaxies has some anomalies that are inconsistent with the Doppler effect. Redshifts would be expected to have continuous values, if they are indeed moving away from us. To the contrary, redshifts tend to cluster at specific, evenly-spaced values. 2) Cosmic Microwave Background: All matter radiates heat, regardless of its temperature. Astronomers can detect an extremely uniform radiation, called cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation, coming from all directions. It appears to come from perfectly radiating matter whose temperature is 2.73 K—nearly absolute zero. Many incorrectly believe that the big bang theory predicted this radiation. Matter in the universe is highly concentrated into galaxies, galaxy clusters, and superclusters—as far as the most powerful telescopes can see. Because the CMB is so uniform, many thought it came from evenly spread matter soon after a big bang. But such uniformly distributed matter would hardly gravitate in any direction; even after tens of billions of years, galaxies and much larger structures would not evolve. In other words, the big bang did not generate the CMB. 3) Helium. Contrary to what is commonly taught [what else is new in the world of Kabbalah], the big bang theory is inconsistent with the amount of helium in the universe, so the theory was adjusted. The lack of helium in certain types of stars (B type stars) and the presence of boron and beryllium in “older” stars contradicts the big bang theory. A big bang would produce only hydrogen and helium, so the first generation of stars that somehow formed after a big bang should consist of only hydrogen and helium. Some of these stars should still exist, but in spite of fervent efforts, none have been found. There are even more flaws in the Big Bang Theory. It should not have produced massive galaxies at the most distant areas of space, but they are there. The Big Bang would not have produced the rotating, highly concentrated objects that we see in planets as well as galaxies. The spacing between galaxies is inconsistent with the Big Bang, as well as the observed sideways, or perpendicular movement of large sections of the universe, it should all be moving generally outward. Dark Matter At creationscience.com, we read: "For every charged particle in the universe, the big bang should have produced an identical particle but with the opposite electrical charge. For example, the anti-particle of a negatively charged electron is the positively charged positron. Only trivial amounts of antimatter have ever been detected, even in other galaxies. For decades, big bang theorists said that the amount of mass in a rapidly expanding universe must be enough to prevent all matter from flying apart; otherwise, matter could not come together to form stars and galaxies. Estimates of the universe’s actual mass always fell far short of that minimum amount. This “missing mass” is often called dark matter, because no one could see it or even detect it. Actually, “missing mass” had to be “created” to preserve the big bang theory. The media’s frequent reference to “dark matter” enshrined it in the public’s consciousness, much like the supposed “missing link” between apes and man. The big bang has struck again. The big bang theory also predicts that the universe’s expansion must be slowing, just as a ball thrown up must slow as it moves away from the Earth. For decades, cosmologists tried to measure this deceleration. The shocking result is now in—and the answer has been rechecked in many ways. The universe’s expansion is not decelerating; it is accelerating!v To preserve the theory, something must again be invented. Some energy source that overcomes gravity must continuously accelerate stars and galaxies away from each other. This energy, naturally enough, is called dark energy. Neither “dark matter” (created to hold the universe together) nor “dark energy” (created to push the universe apart) has been seen or measured. We are told that “most of the universe is composed of invisible dark matter and dark energy.” Few realize that both mystical concepts were devised to preserve the big bang theory. Rather than cluttering textbooks and the public’s imagination with statements about things for which no objective evidence exists, wouldn’t it be better to admit that the big bang is faulty? Of course. But big bang theorists want to preserve their reputations, careers, and worldview. If the big bang is discarded, only one credible explanation remains for the origin of the universe and everything in it. That thought sends shudders down the spines of many evolutionists. If a big bang occurred, what caused the bang? Stars with enough mass become black holes, so not even light can escape their enormous gravity. How then could anything escape trillions upon trillions of times greater gravity caused by concentrating all the universe’s mass in a “cosmic egg” that existed before a big bang?u If the big bang theory is correct, one can calculate the age of the universe. This age turns out to be younger than objects in the universe whose ages were based on other evolutionary theories. Because this is logically impossible, one or both sets of theories must be incorrectly All these observations make it doubtful that a big bang occurred." The Copernican Revolution In order to foist this "scientific" discovery on mankind, there would have to be an upheaval in the churches. For centuries, they had been teaching the cosmology of the Bible. The upheaval was later to become known as the Copernican Revolution. In order for the church to bring "science" into a "workable" agreement with the Bible's creation account, something had to be done about the first chapter of Genesis and its systematic, orderly description of the sequence of events by which the earth, and then the heavens came into existence. The answer? Genesis 1:1- "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Now it was being taught that this verse referred to an already created universe! From there, the rest of the events became a myth perpetrated by Moses, who was just an ignorant Hebrew who believed in the now "disproven" geocentric model of the universe! Now the first salvo had been fired to destroy the origins account of the Bible, paving the way for the rest of it to be declared "fiction"! Now it could no longer be possible that "all scripture is inspired of God". Mathematics cannot lie, can it? It must not be from God! Therefore, Jesus may very well have been a myth too! And what do we see all over the Internet today? That Jesus, in fact the whole Bible, is a myth stolen from the ancient Egyptians! Did you know that the human brain contains more synapses than there are atoms in the entire universe? Did you know that one single human cell is more complex than the City of New York, and 100 times as efficient? Have you ever gone to see a symphony orchestra perform Johann Strauss' "Die Fledermaus"? Do you believe that it all started as a mustard grain? I don't. Creationists who accept Copernicanism say that it wasn't all an accident, that it was God's guiding hand that caused everything to come into being from that mustard grain. There's still a dilemma. That isn't what the Bible tells us. It does not describe a chaotic, disorderly, violently explosive cosmic origin for all that exists. What it describes is an orderly, deliberate, step-by-step creation. And the Bible tells us that God did it all in six days flat. (Exodus 20:11; 31:17) And most importantly, the earth was here first! This is a HUGE problem for Satan! So where did this fantastic (and ridiculous) tale known as the "Big Bang" come from? Kabbalah! Scientific advancement that says that the ancient Hebrews were ignorant for believing that the earth was God's footstool, the center of the universe, the very reason why God created the Heavens. Or for believing that the earth could not be moved (except for earthquakes, that is) and that the sun orbited the earth in a circuit, like a racer around a track , or a bridegroom arriving to meet his bride, (Psalms 19:5,6) and that the stars had orbits. (Judges 5:20) Think about this: When Saul/Paul wrote to Timothy in the first century, and said: "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called" (1 Timothy 6:20), what did he believe about cosmology? Did he ever hear of Copernicus? Or Einstein? How about Jesus? Did He not say: "That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." -Matthew 5:45 Would Jesus apply the same language of action upon the sun as He did upon the rain if the sun was not moving? Think about it! Jesus created it all, and He would know whether it was the sun or the earth that was moving! Before the Beginning? Satan's relentless assault on the Word of God begins with the first three words. God is saying “in the beginning” for a reason: Obviously, there was no material universe before this beginning, but Satan would like us to believe so. Why? Because his LIE to Eve requires much more than God creating the heaven and the earth “in the beginning”, 6,000 years ago in six days flat.. His version of “origins” requires BILLIONS OF YEARS in order for humans to have any chance of achieving the “god” status that his tall tale envisioned. When we can’t seem to get a handle on what might or might not be true, sometimes it proves very enlightening to take a look at what the Devil has conjured up, and usually everything falls into place. Satan does sprinkle in some truth every now and then, just to mess people up, to throw them off the scent in their quest for accurate knowledge. But in this particular case, unless Genesis 1:1 means something entirely different than what God intended for it to mean, Satan has a serious problem: His entire house of cards that he calls an “origins” explanation collapses into dust and disappears. Then, he would not be able to build his cozy little New World Order, based on Humanist/Communist philosophy. The Ruin-Reconstruction Theory Another explanation for Genesis 1:1 being bandied about is that everything had already existed, but then some cataclysmic event happened to the earth and wiped out everything. According to Kabbalists, God takes some sort of sordid pleasure in creating, then destroying, then creating again, only to destroy again, and this is an ongoing cycle that goes on indefinitely. One would have to wonder how God would have seen fit to pronounce all His creation "very good" if such cataclysms had occurred. Of course, all these ideas directly contradict what God says in the Bible. Let's have a look at some Kabbalah "enlightenment": "Pre-Adamic Civilizations Secrets of the Kabbalistic Shemitot" By Rabbi Ariel Bar Tzadok Copyright © 2000 by Ariel Bar Tzadok. All rights reserved. http://www.koshertorah.com/ The Rabbi says: “One of the most controversial teachings among Kabbalists is the doctrine of the Shemita(ot), the cosmic Sabbatical epochs of pre-Adamic times. According to many of the great Rabbis...." .....Who, according to the Talmud, know more than God, and even beat Him in a debate to prove it!..... ......"Adam was not the first human to have walked the earth. These Rabbis teach that there were full pre- Adamic human civilizations that had arisen and were eventually destroyed.” I suppose we may rightfully ask for evidence of these civilizations to be forthcoming, at some point..... “Among the earlier generations of Kabbalists, prior to the Ari’zal, the doctrine of the Shemita was written about by all Kabbalists, including the Ari’zal’s Kabbalistic teacher Rabbi David Ibn Zimra. These Kabbalists taught that not only is the source for doctrine of the Shemita to be found in the Oral tradition, they went directly into the simple and plain words of the Torah text to show that the history of time is not fully told in the Bible." I suppose this is another one of those occasions where "G-d" has reserved "the Truth" for the "Adepts", who are the only ones who can handle it, while the rest of us gleefully believe the lies the "G-d" told in the "written" word. In case we have never heard of the children's game "Telephone", word of mouth has been proven to be, well, to put it mildly, not very reliable. Especially when "every man is a liar". "In the very beginning it is written, ”In the beginning G-d created the Heavens and the earth” (Gen. 1:1)." There ya go! I suspected that a Rabbi would know the Hebrew rules of grammar, that it really was "the very beginning"! Now let's see, "in the very beginning", as you say, it was "the very beginning"! ...... "Immediately, the following verse states, “And the earth was without form and empty” (Gen. 1:2)....." Now is a good time to point out another deft little maneuver by the Revisionists, and I'm sure this will help your case, Rabbi... Genesis 1:2, Received Text: "And the earth was without form...." Genesis 1:2, Revised Bibles: "Now the earth was formless and void...." Nowhere does the word "now" appear in the text, it is another blatant change by the Ghost Society Boys to fit your little endeavor to CHANGE THE WORD OF GOD INTO ITS EXACT OPPOSITE. Anyway..... " .....The Kabbalists have noticed that the prophet Isaiah has written (45:18) that “the earth was not created empty,.....” Where does it say that, and what does that mean? How is anything created "full" without starting out empty? "....revealing an apparent contradiction between Genesis and Isaiah. Yet, as it is known to every true scholar of Torah, there is no contradiction between what Genesis says and what Isaiah says...." Of course not, thank you. ".....Something, however, is definitely missing....." ??? I'm all ears! "....For when G-d created the earth it was not empty upon its creation as per Isaiah." With all due respect, Rabbi, you still haven't shown us where Isaiah said that. "....How then did the earth become empty as related in Gen.1:2? This leads us to the inevitable conclusion that something is missing; not that part of the text is missing (G-d forbid), but rather something has been intentionally left out of the narrative. This is glaringly obvious to any student of the Bible.” What's glaringly obvious? That God is withholding vital information that He didn't want to scare us dumb goys with? All right then, let’s take a look at Isaiah 45:18- "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else." Where do we see the words “the earth was not created empty”? I'm sorry but I just don't see it. What I see is that G-d, er, I mean God formed the earth from what was previous formless, and that He created it to support life and be inhabited by such life. He also says that He didn't do it simply for nothing, but for a real purpose. Everything that G-d I mean God created exhudes His Love, Wisdom and Power. Does a potter start out with a pot or with a lump of clay? Do we really need to go so far beyond what’s written? Through the use of "intellectual" wizardry you have nullified the Word of GOD, EHYEH ASHER EHYEH to be exact. You have taken Isaiah 45:18, one of the cornerstone scriptures that states that God's plan for the earth is eternal, and twisted it into the revelation of some "hidden" knowledge that ADONAI ELOHIM creates everything only to sadistically wipe it all out, over and over again, because He just loves destroying things for no good reason at all, except for maybe His own sadistic pleasure. I think I can hear a hissss........... Here's a thought from the only real Rabbi and the only Faithful and True Witness of God the Father: "Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows." -Matthew 10:29-31. The Rabbi continues: “I have even spoken to one ex-Christian minister (now an Orthodox Jew) who, upon learning about this anomaly, had mentioned that he had heard of this before from reading Christian Biblical commentaries. Therefore, it seems that we have a mystery, the secret solution of which, of course, is known to the Rabbis and Kabbalists.” Of course! Only Rabbis and Kabbalists can know such secrets! The rest of us are idiots! Let's not forget that, according to the Talmud: “Israelites possess 90% of all wisdom. The other 10% is spread out among the Gentiles.” -Kiddushin 49b. Well then, what’s the real story, Rabbi? Please tell us! “In the Midrash (Gen. R. 3:7) a question is posed of what was G-d occupied with, prior to His creation of our world. The Midrash relates that G-d was busy building and destroying other worlds. The Kabbalists have always had profound insight and understanding into the nature of these pre-Adamic worlds.” Oh really? So G-d, I mean God has nothing better to do than to build up and wipe out, like a little kid with blocks. Does he get frustrated when one block is out of place so he knocks the whole thing down? Maybe some other kids came along and wanted to play, so he took his blocks and went home! At this point it might be a good time to make a distinction between the teachings of the Talmud and the “craft” of Kabbalah. The Talmud is the exoteric “wisdom” for the "goyim", but the esoteric wisdom of Kabbalah requires sorcery and witchcraft. (Surely, you can move mountains if you know the right demons.) Now the Rabbi tells us what’s really going on: “I assure you that among Kabbalists the vast majority of true knowledge still remains hidden in small private circles, each of which is guarded like the inner circle of the best intelligence agencies in the world. These Kabbalistic inner circles have been around since Talmudic times (and before). They are the ones who truly know what is going on in the world. They are the ones chosen by G-d to have the power to influence the course of human events. Through these secret groups of Kabbalists is fulfilled the verse, “For the L-rd HaShem does nothing unless He has revealed His secret to His servants, the prophets.” (Amos 3:7).” Thank you Rabbi, that's very useful information for those who say there's no conspiracy of "secret knowledge". Ehyeh says: "And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD." -Ezekiel 13:9 Yes, they are the ones chosen by G-d alright, the g-d of THIS world! -2 Corinthians 4:4. Back to the Rabbi: “It is written in the book of Leviticus that, “for six years you shall plow your fields, but the seventh year shall be holy to HaShem, in that year you shall do no work.” It is also taught by our Sages in the holy Talmud (San. 98A), “six thousand years shall the world last, then for one thousand years shall it remain desolate.” Our Sages have learned from the secret meaning of the verse in Leviticus that the days of our world, i.e., our civilization, will be measured in the same way, as is the Biblical Sabbatical year. Six years shall we labor, and in the seventh shall we rest. So, our civilization will grow for six thousand years, and then for a thousand years shall it “remain desolate” which means to be left alone to rest. After this time, it is said that G-d renews his creation.” Evidently God's Word is not good enough, there has to be some "secret meaning" that only Kabbalist Sages can figure out. So the Bible, you're saying, was written to deceive the "goys" while you "Mediators" step in to provide the "correct" interpretation. So, this "thousand year" contrivance comes out of the Psalms and fits in nicely with a millennium of utter destruction for every 6 millennia of "existence", turning God's sabbath "day" into a thousand-year period of "rest" from having to deal with maintaining His wayward creation. Nice job going "beyond what is written" in order to make black mean white, and white mean black: "They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?" (Ezekiel 13:6,7) "How is it that you say, We are wise and the law of the Lord is with us? But see, the false pen of the scribes has made it false." -Jeremiah 8:8, BBE. The Rabbi continues: “The Bible proceeds to speak about the Jubilee year. We are instructed to count seven times seven years and then to proclaim a Jubilee, a year of complete release. The Kabbalists have revealed that just as our civilization will last for the Sabbatical period of six thousand years and one thousand years of desolation, so will there be seven cycles similar to this, corresponding to a cosmic cycle of Sabbaticals and Jubilee. Therefore, according to this calculation, human civilization will rise and fall seven times, each for a period of six thousand years, with a rest period of a thousand years between.”....."Drawing upon what was the scientific discoveries of his day, and the Darwinian conflict on creationism and evolution, Lifshitz points out that the Torah does acknowledge the existence of dinosaurs. These were the creations of the prior Shemita, he says.”....“Not only this, but Rabbi Lifshitz goes further to say that Adam was not really the first human being, but that there were countless people before him, which he calls pre-Adamites. This controversial view of Rabbi Lifshitz has placed his commentary and other written works on the taboo list in certain Jewish circles, which considered his revelations not in accordance with the spirit of Judaism. However, nothing could be further from the truth.” Yes, there are a few things that are further from the truth. Turning the Feasts of God that His Creation was to celebrate with great joy, God's show of good will toward His creatures, into periods of sadistic, wanton destruction of all life on earth. What a joy for everyone involved, except for Satan and his buddies who just happen to revel in that sort of thing. By the way, does Rabbi Lifshitz have any PROOF of these pre-Adamic civilizations to show us yet? Ehyeh says: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!...Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 5:20,24) "The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?" -Jeremiah 8:9 As for the thousand-year Sabbath theory, it is a by-product of the Kabbalist invention of Ruin-Reconstruction, and is not supported by the scriptures. Entering into God's "rest" has nothing to do with Creation, but has everything to do with the accomplishments of the Son of God: His life without sin, His perfect obedience to the Torah, His Ministry, and ultimately His agonizing death by crucifixion. This is why Yeshua said: "For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day." -Matthew 12:8; Luke 6:5. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Reference: Answers in Genesis Continue on to "The Electric Firmament" Back to top Home |

| Astronomers who refuse to see beyond Kabbalah physics, or can see but are too afraid to speak up, are denying the only observable and repeatable explanation for God to say that a (measuring) line goes out from the stars "through all the earth". Webster's dictionary says “line” means: "direction of something in motion", and “unto” means: "action, continuance, movement and direction." If “day unto day” is moving, certainly “day and night” would be moving. The “day” says that it is rotating and the night shows rotation. For the word "line", Strong's says: H6957 קו קו qav qâv kav, kawv From H6960 (compare H6961); a cord (as connecting), especially for measuring; figuratively a rule; also a rim, a musical string or accord: - line. Compare H6978. This is explained by electromagnetic forces that govern the cosmos, not gravity and black holes from hell. Quasars have been found to be giant radio transmitters, and they have also been found to be evenly distributed about the universe in relation to the earth. Could electromagnetic forces from the stars conducted via plasma be interacting with the sun and moon to cause our gravity and tides? Could those same electromagnetic forces be the way that God engineered the earth to hang upon nothing, as stated in Job 26:7? As an electrical engineer, this is something I can relate to! |
